Wife and I go every year but didn't get tix this becuase of soccer for kids. Obviously that is cancelled now and would love to go. It's sold out.

Yeah, it's utterly baffling that some dude is actually trolling for tickets, cause he's so bummed he's going to be missing this thing.
This is the type of shite I see come in and I just pray my wife's not going to want and/or feel obliged to have us attend.
To each his own, I guess.
ETA, I think her employer actually has two extra tickets to this thing, though. If the OP really wants to go this bad, I suppose I could make a call.

I would appreciate it if you made the call. Tickets were 200 a piece. I would be more than happy to pay them for them or make the donation to children's hospital in their name. Thanks.

It won't be that bad. Our good friend is heavily involved in putting it on so that's the main reason we're going. Plus it's for a good cause.
I always make the best if these things though. I could have a good time in a cardboard box.
