ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski has some interesting takes on the quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft class, with his latest rankings sure to raise a few eyebrows. Jaworski gave his updated quarterback rankings on Friday morning, with LSU’s Zach Mettenberger coming in the No. 2 spot behind Blake Bortles of UCF.

that's great and all...but I take JAWS's opinion with a grain of salt.

I actually agree. I don't believe anything Jaws says anymore.

While I do believe he has a certain bias for pro-style QBs with good size and strong arms, If I'm drafting for the future, say 5 years down the road, those 2 are at the top of my list.

Nah.

"I truly believe Colin Kaepernick could be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever," Jaworski said Wednesday on ESPN. "I love his skill set. I think the sky's the limit."

I hope Mett goes to Arizona. A good young team, but they will never max out with Carson Palmer.

On a side note, Teddy Bridgewater's stock has really fallen, or so it seems. His pro day must've been a disaster.

This would've been a little bit more realistic if Mett hadn't have torn his ACL. Pretty much a given he wont start in 2014. Before the injury, I thought he would be drafted as the 4th QB, around picks 25-40.

Now I think 3rd rd is the best case realistic scenario.

I tell everyone that this is a perfect fit. He can sit for a year behind Carson Palmer, who probably only has 2 yrs left as a legitimate starter. Plus, their offense fits perfect with his strengths.

Hopefully, Arizona likes him. who knows?

I have a feeling Cam Cameron is really helping Mett. Saying really good things about him.

The guy was an NFL QB for 17 years and you don't think he knows a few things about QB play? OK.

Yep - the same reason that Shaq, Barkley, Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Ray Lewis, Deion Sanders. Michael Irvin and all those other multi-millionaire athletes don't work for NBA or NFL franchises. Because broadcasting is cushy, well-paid gig.

Arizona would be better off drafting Carr than Mett.

Which it's starting to look like Derek Carr will drop out of the 1st Rd.

The Titanic was a disaster, his pro day was way way worse.

Have you seen any footage of his pro day or are you just coming up with something flamboyant to say?

This is probably the best thing that can happen, why is it bad?

Jaws lost me with his qb rankings this past summer. Hes your basic espn attention whore these days.

I miss the NFL Matchup Days
