If Monty returns, No way Reke goes back to 25mpg correct?

So its looking like we probably will get another yr of Monty ball bc of the Pelicans strong finish.
With Reke and AD really blossoming as a 1-2 punch the last 15 or so games since Reke was given 35+mpg, we have to assume he is not headed back to the bench when the injured guys come back next year, right???

shite i've been booted twice. once for awhile and once for a couple of days just to cool me off. i think i'm in good stead now, but pull? doubt it.

Monty said multiple times earlier in the season that he was still learning how to use Tyreke. That plus Tyreke earning his trust with the recent play make me think he shouldn't go back to < 25 minutes, but you never know with Monty.

So when Jrue and hopefully Ryan comes back, you don't see Monty struggling, at least at first, with how to get them to mesh. I know they were 9-6 this year, but that's such a small sample size. Plus, those teams we beat in that stretch were pretty bad.

Well it seems pretty clear that EG (assuming he stays) should take over the role originally envisioned for Reke. EG can be instant offense off the bench plus physically he would be better off having his mins limited to 25 mpg.

I like that. But then you got Jrue who will have the ball in his hands quite a bit, and Ryan who needs to touch the ball on the perimeter to get him going.
I'm not saying it can't work, but with our goofball coach, it may not go easily according to his plan. His history is not adapting to change very easily. Monty has to be forced out of "his plans".
We will see.

I like the idea. I know some may think it ridiculous at his salary but he's here regardless, and I'm not familiar with any "rule" that wouldn't let us do it.

Ryno and Reke will be a force together imo. Reke can get to the rim at will if he is given space to operate. Ryno gives him that space. If Teams sag into the lane to stop Reke then Ryno will have plenty open 3 balls.

EG will still be on the court to close out games with AD, Jrue, Reke, and Ryno but will have less wear and tear. Plus I think EG will be better with the 2s bc he can also get to the rim while also being a 3pt threat (When Reke was in with the 2s teams collapsed the lane daring him to shoot).

I didn't really watch Reke much when he was with the Kings, and I didn't really realize that his entire offensive game was pretty much driving to the rim. It won't work if no one is respecting the outside shot (please let Ryno's surgery be a success and re-sign Morrow).

He said something along the lines of "I hope you die and I'm not kidding, I really mean I want you to die" IIRC. With the cyberbullying laws that's about the equivalent of making a joke about bombs in the airport.
