Omaha Hotels - Other Things To Do?

We are traveling to Council Bluffs for a rock festival in a couple of months. The show is in Council Bluffs, so I was looking for hotels and decided on the Country Inn & Suites. It's the closest to the venue without being run-down.
The show and hotel is Friday night, is there anything worth checking out in Omaha on our way back to Denver the following day? Any experience with the hotels there?

I have no problem with people peeping on me in the hotel. Didn't realize it happened there, though!

I saw OAR at the pavilion in Council Bluffs. Great time.
Can't help on Omaha hotels. I was there for a summer so I had an apartment. Barry O's was our go-to bar.
Council Bluffs has BYOB fully nude strip clubs, btw.

I like zoos. The Denver Zoo is great, but I like seeing other animals. Not sure we'll have much time for night life after a full day at a metal festival
