It's at 1pm according to lsusports.net

And I don't think it's on TV, though ESPNU has televised it in the past. Maybe they'll scoop it up between now and then.

It seems as if you can listen on GeauxZone or radio and that's it. But that may change, I don't know.

Some of us die hards don't live within 1000 miles of Baton Rouge anymore. It'd be nice to be able to watch the damn spring game

You'll survive.

I'm pretty sure they only televised the spring game once or twice. And I think they stopped doing it to increase attendance.

When will the people in charge realize how terrible a 1pm start is?

Why is that terrible? Serious question.

FWIW, baseball plays State in a huge game that night at 6:30. The 1pm start gives ample time to do both.

Because this is Louisiana and typically it's 90+ at that time. It shouldn't be this year, but it has been in previous years. Miserable experience for everyone involved and most leave shortly after the game starts. I went a couple years ago and my wife and kids had to go down at halftime because they were burned to a crisp.

Wear sunscreen and drink water

Have you never been outside in heat before?

Plus, the baseball game...

there is more to the day than the game. After the game the players and their families go to a meal, usually a BBQ, and interact with the coaching staff. The staff use this as a good will gesture and a get to know some of the family members they have not previoulsy met. This is a 4-5 hour event by itself, and to get it started by mid afternoon, the game must be earlier.

I didn't know that. Pretty cool.
