they bring in artists to "DJ" and play "what they want".
all they play is the same fricking songs they play at any other time in the day.
yes, I know the highway is nothing but bro country but I had to share how mad I am
going back to 104.5 now.

It depends on who the artist is. Last year they had Chesney do it and he was playing Bob Marley. Last month someone was playing one of the late 90s rock bands like Weezer, I forget who it was.
But mostly all they play is crap, so I hardly ever listen unless I am just checking through the stations to see what is on.

Seems like all of the music is probably computer programmed. I doubt any of the DJs on the pop stations "play whatever they want."

Some of them have to have their own playlists. Tom Petty's Buried Treasure on deep tracks is quite different than the playlist that is normally on there.
