Alright thanks. So I'll be graduating with my AAS in law enforcement and I'm looking to move away from MN and looking at Cobb County. I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience living there or had any info that the internet stats wouldn't have? Thanks in advance.

oh gosh, stay away from the OT.
there is plenty of crime in Atlanta so job security is there.
i live 90 min north of there so i cant exactly give you a whole lot of info unless you are more specific with what you want to know.

I'm not looking in ATL. More north like Kennesaw and Marietta. Just looking like at crime, schools, jobs. I've looked up crime rate in the county alone but stats can't be deceiving. Also just want to know what the housing market is like. I've looked at a few sites for homes/schools/jobs. I'm just looking to get a job outside of Minnesota and I love GA and heard a few good things about Cobb county. Thanks a lot for the help.

Cobb County is a good place to live. I live in Cobb County. I would specifically say East Cobb is a better place to live than other parts. Kennesaw area is nice. I live near downtown Acworth on Lake Allatoona, this area is not as nice as other areas, but still fine nonetheless. I would say look into areas that contain these Schools: Allatoona High School, Lassiter High School, Pope High School, Roswell High School, Kennesaw Mountain High School, Kell High School, Milton High School.
