Not too shabby of a parking spot in that first scene.

So is this leading into a new series or is it just these two episodes set in New Orleans?

It could be picked up as a new series. But if it sucks it will likely just be these two.

Damn, a Parkway mention. Not bad.

They've already referenced a lot of the stereotypical cajun food items.

Like every 5 seconds. Hopefully they'd get that overkill out of the way after a couple episodes.

Saw that!

Painfully stereotypical except they said getting drunk on Mint Julep instead of Hurricanes.

They should get LSP CID Cohle and Hart on the case.

"Must be Monday." - fricking lame and nobody outside of this state probably gets that.

Cafe Du Monde is the chronic though.

I've found that y'all never like how you're portrayed on tv and in movies.

I just feel we are over stereo-typed.

A politician being murdered in Louisiana, then a cover up involving a Coroner. Nail on the head for Louisiana.

Because it's ridiculous stereotypes that don't reflect how real New Orleanians live.
