I'm guessing you have either never been there, or didn't go anywhere except the Civil War park.

Austin is the best city in Texas.

You've obviously never been to Orange Beach, Alabama.

I'm a native of NOLA, and even I don't believe that. St. Francisville would prolly be my choice for Louisiana.

Hoover? Jesus Christ.

For Alabama I'd say Fort Payne or Gulf Shores because of natural beauty.

If you're talking socioeconomics, it's Mtn Brook.

I don't know where the frick you got Hoover from

You like some shitty places.

Florida - Naples
Georgia - Savannah (ok we agree on that one)
South Carolina - Charleston (ok that's two)
Alabama - Orange Beach (not Guadalafrickinghoover)
Mississippi - Ocean Springs
Louisiana - New Orleans (ok three)
Tennessee - Chattanooga
Texas - Austin
Arkansas - Fayetteville (four)
Missouri - Columbia
Kentucky - Louisville

Of places I've been (I won't count states where I've only been to shitty places, see Georgia)

Alabama- Fairhope/Point Clear or Huntsville
Mississippi- Bay St. Louis
Louisiana- New Orleans (Lafayette an honorable mention, and Thibodaux a great 3rd place)
Tennessee- Memphis only because I haven't really spent any time in Nashville (Knoxville a close second)
Texas- Austin because I've never been to San Antonio
Arkansas- Fort Smith. Hot Springs
Missouri- St. Louis

I've never really been to a great town in Florida, Georgia, or Kentucky (Arkansas nearly got left off the list). I've never been to South Carolina.

For a big city in Texas it's probably Austin. If we are talking actual town (like less than 100k) I'd go with one of the hill country towns like New Braunfels, maybe Wimberley or Lockhart
