This commitment did not get a lot of hype, but this is a big pick up for Mainieri and the Tigers. Fastball low-mid 90's and highly sought after. Godfrey chose LSU over Vanderbilt. He was initially committed to Notre Dame and is from the Chicago area.

Most mocks have him rated late 2nd - early 3rd round.

i won't get my hopes up that we see him in an LSU uni, but would be nice.
