How do you mentally prepare yourself to jump? I'm guessing the freaky part is when the door opens...Doubt anyone regrets doing it huh?

Incredible thing to do. Don't think about it. No need for preparation. Mental prep is for pussies.

Just go, pay you money, suit up, listen to your instructor, close your eyes on the way up and relax, them jump out and experience life!

Good luck!

Yes, accelerated free fall course at Asc. Skydiving years ago. Never forget it or regret it. Never got nervous till the 4th or 5th dive. Was too excited on the first three.

Went a few times on the North Shore of Hawaii. Highly recommend doing it at a location with a view. I think it adds a considerable amount to the experience.

And yeah, there's a pucker factor when they open the door. Try and be the first person out.

You just have to remember people do it all the time. I went last year with some friends and everyone's chute opened fine except for mine. It took the instructed about 10 seconds to get the twists out by creating a spiral rotation with our bodies which got us spinning in the right direction. No joke I really thought I was going to die. Go pro was running the whole time.

I've been countless times. I never mentally prepared myself, I just did it. So my advice to you is, just do it.

You don't. Adrenaline and excitement take over, and you don't really have time to panic. Also you're so high up that it's kind of difficult for your brain to comprehend what you're doing. It's a lot of fun!

That makes sense because I'm scared to death of heights but I have no problem flying.

I jumped out of a helicopter above the swiss alps at 14,000 ft. Was too excited to get nervous. The freefall was strangely calm. No stomach sensations

I did it...got some butterflies before jumping, but once you do, the sensation of falling really goes away...

it is kinda cool to experience it, but I can't say I enjoyed it enough to do it again....
