Every decision Benson had made since he bought the team has been wrong and that includes changing the name of the fricking team. We could have Noel and a decent shot at a top 5 pick right now but instead he told his GM to foolishly spend all our cap space on an a 3rd tier PG and a me first shooter with no other skills. frick this fricking team.

This is ridiculous.

The branding is awesome and some of the best in the NBA.

Tyreke Evans has been incredible since moving in as a starter.

The Pelicans traded some project picks (6th and probably 11th or so) for a legit PG with an all star appearance and Pierre Jackson.

This is one of the more delayed over-reactions I've ever encountered.

The Pels can't be that bad since the record isn't absolutely horrible and they have been held back by injuries to key players.

Yeah keeping the team from going to seattle and renovating the arena is bad,OK.

Noel is a center with one knee that won't play this year. He also has zero offensive game and is rail thin. I'm sure you'd like that 5 mil a year for an at best average center(or worse) burning a hole in your pocket.

Jrue is a 3rd tier point guard?

He's arguably the best defensive PG in the league(other players such as iggy/CP3 have said this too) and he's got a great all around skill set and only 23. Tyreke has averaged 22/6/6 since being put to start. He's in no way a shoot first guy.

frick this fricking team.

Frick you for being ignorant about things you don't know.

Go back to your 9ers and GTFO

No dipshit I said SINCE, that doesn't include him actually buying the team.

And what the hell do the 49ers have to do with anything?

Because you're a bandwagon 9er fan. Let me guess, you were a Lakers fan before New Orleans got the Hornets?

Go root for the Heat.

Jrue-great move
Tyreke-great move

when benson took over our roster was

Jack/Vasquez
Gordon/Belinelli/Henry
Ariza/Aminu
Landry/Smith/Ayon
Kaman/Okafor

Now we have

Jrue/Roberts/Rivers
Gordon/Morrow
Evans/Aminu/Babbit/Miller
Davis/Anderson/Smith
Ajinca/Steamer/Whitey

which is a way more talented team, and could have been 45-50 win team. Noel's knee has been wrecked, and it seems once Basketball players have one knee injury they build. And for a center who is >210 who relies on athleticism, having a bum knee is awful.

I've never switched teams in any sport and I'm not going to start now but I have just as much a right as anyone else to voice my displeasure over how MY TEAM is being run. If you have a problem with that then you can kindly GO frick YOURSELF

At UK, until his injury, Noel was possibly a better defender and shot blocker than AD. Very quick hands for steals etc. He did not have the shooting touch as he was developing. Time will tell if we should have kept him.
