It seems like the cool thing to hate on this movie when no one saw it yet

It just seems like like a thin concept to base an entire movie around. Unless Aaron Sorkin is writing it, I highly doubt this will be any good.

Cleveland Browns. Nothing interesting ever goes on in their front office, I can tell by the product that they put on the field. Once again, Cleveland Browns.

I just can't figure it out. First off, I feel like they're hoping a buncha middle aged men and football fans see the trailer and say "Broo! This is awesome let's watch it!"

And it takes a while to figure out if a draft is even good. Do they dominate the draft or something? If the draft is really deep then they won't be the only team to have a good draft. I just don't see how it's gonna work.

I think a couple of movie producers saw moneyball and were like "that could totally work for football!" But have never actually watched footballz

And then said things like "well get Cosner, hell literally do anything for a check!"

I'm hoping they go full retard and make Jennifer Garner a knowledgeable female football exec that doesn't get the proper respect.

No fricking shite

I wanna see another Oliver Stone one focused on Draft Day with Diaz and Pacino

Regardless of how stupid that script was both of them in those roles were

This. Like, I get it's to be a fun draft movie but what is the endgame? They just get the draft of a lifetime and it's left to your imagination about how well they do? Or is the draft only the first half of the film and they go onto the season where they win it all? I just don't see how they end this movie short of some montage leading them to a SB title.

Garner is supposed to be the salary cap expert. I guess she is the moneyball aspect of the film. It does look like this is a low rent version of Moneyball. I would like to see Leary in the role as a coach, but this is not the movie for it.

Cleveland Browns? Lol. This movie ends with the draft.

It focuses on the Cleveland Browns so I assume it's a horror movie.

I probably won't watch, but someone said that the staff had access that no one else has had to that particular draft. It's supposed to have some legit inside war room knowledge.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

If Kevin Costner does a Western or Sports movie, I'm in. His track record is too good in those respective genres.
