I have a few questions regarding the purchase of an Xbox1

I was looking online to order one today and saw that a lot of people are just selling the consoles by themselves.. what is their reasoning behind this?

would it be better/cheaper for me to purchase a console separate from the hardware (controllers, wires, kinect, etc)?

also, has their been any talk of a price drop anytime soon?
