After corruption allegation, Mt.Gox happens to find a "misplaced"" $118Million

Mt. Gox has discovered 200,000 missing bitcoins in a wallet no longer in use, the troubled Bitcoin exchange announced Thursday, reducing the number of missing bitcoins from 850,000 to 650,000.

Gox said it reported the discovery to attorneys on March 8 and moved the newfound bitcoins to offline storage.

Hackers accused the exchange of secretly keeping some of the coins allegedly stolen in the fraudulent withdrawals and posted data allegedly lifted from Mt. Gox servers they said backed up their claims. The data purportedly showed that 951,116 bitcoins had been deposited with the exchange, more than 100,000 more than Mt. Gox claimed to have lost.

I'd bet the Mt GOX customers wish MtGOX had overzealous administrators. Might have saved them a few hundred million dollars.

Everyone thinks he got owned by LSURussian and took his ball and went home. That, or he went to Japan looking for satisfaction from MtGOX and has just been too embarrassed by the loss o show up here and take the hits of "I told you so" over and over.

Not really except for the people that played in that game(Wiki for one) as there was no manner of regulation in place at all to the money grab when it came. Chasing after so many lines of zeros and ones is a monumental task to wade through.
