He's not played a full season in 5 years, missed the last 2 to injuries and surgeries.
How long can he make it into the season before being shelved for the season?

This is a pretty messed up thread.
He'll be the 4th outfielder at best (not counting the platoon in left). He'll probably start around 25-30 games and play in around 50.

I agree. He isn't expcted to be an everyday starter so his risk of injury decreases. I think he will make it through the entire season, but with a few smaller issues that will only cost him 10-20 games.
