Resident Obamabots and Obama supporters:

You all seem so angry, edgy, defensive and more rude than normal since Russia took over Crimea. Why is that?

You folks should calm down and accept the fact that Obama is a shitty POTUS. Criticism of Obama is warranted.

Try to learn something from all of this. Don't take it out on me and others who are saying,

"I told you so."

PS How's that "Re-set Button" workin' out for ya?

I don't think they are mad. The gay is spreading. They are happy.

Y U and POTUS Damn still word challenged.

I voted for Obama twice. Yes, I am disappointed in him. He has not gotten us Gun Control nor Universal health Care. He also needs to stand up for America's inters ts as the champions of freedom amd stop Putin in his tracks.

First of all gun control will never happen. Get on the NRA train or get run over.

Second, Obama is single handily dismantling his first step to universal healthcare, Obamacare.

These are very uncomfortable positions for them. They're much better at finger pointing than answering critics pointing the finger at them for foreign policy... Same as it ever was, same as it ever was....

what the hell is Universal Health Care? Health care anywhere you go in the universe? free health care for everyone, no questions asked even if it's a hangnail, or ingrown toenail, even if you don't contribute to society?

or a health care system run by an army of bureaucrats who just feel it is their god (sic) given right to decide your health care fate by your political persuasion, or at their whim, or by race, gender, age?

Universal Health Care, less attainable than pie in the sky

Health care for everyone. So it's better when people can;t afford it and run by faceless bureaucrats at HMOs? Anyway we digress. Obama ran on the platform of tis and that and sold out the left my moving to the middle and hiring Wall Street cronies.

Thats all. You asked Obama voters for their assessment.

Well, he shouldn't have bitten off more than he could chew so early on. Of course there were going to be concessions, and added pork, and so on. He should have waited until (and only if) he'd built up a bigger cache of trust with the American people and could clearly demonstrate the Republicans to be obstructionist. He got too greedy and ambitious, imo.

Anyhow, I don't understand why people are deriding the idea of state run healthcare as if could never possibly work in any human society ever. Maybe not right now and in a mammoth, diverse country like America. But I don't think future economists and health care professionals will one day look back and say: "Wow! That was the golden age of human health care, when the lifespans of poor Americans dwindled for the first time while simultaneously private insurance companies made record profits and bought naming rights to all of our entertainment venues."

If I voted for this marxist POS once I would be too ashamed to admit it, but if I was fool enough to vote for this idiot twice I would never vote again, wear a dunce cap till death and move to Kenya where at least the champions of Obama were only pulling for him because he was a native Kenyan.

Serious question: What did he do during his first term that made you comfortable voting for him a 2nd time?

For most of my friends in NY that were 2x Obama voters it came down to his stance on gay rights, and that foreign policy should be a breeze since all the cool countries like him.

quote:

Yes, I am disappointed in him

I don't understand this. You voted for him a second time knowing his limitations as a leader. He is:
- Polarizing
- Does not work well with the opposition
- Clueless on economic issues
- Has a platform based on healthcare that wasn't even realistic in terms of how it would be implemented
- Only serves the base that voted for him, does not try to please all americans
- Can't speak publicly without a teleprompter
- He had major skeletons in his closet with Bhengazi, F&F, and the IRS where questions were not and are still not being answered

I don't understand what you were expecting based on the evidence of his first term.

quote:

He has not gotten us Gun Control

To be fair, I believe you'll probably see something. But will it help violent crime in the South Bronx or Camden NJ?

quote:

Universal health Care

He and his party royally fricked this up. No chance it doesn't have a negative effect and we go back to business as usual. To be fair, nobody has defined what "universal" means. Is it all legal residents? Does it include illegals as well? What is the impact on an overburdened system if we cover every illegal that walks through the door?

As for the argument that "other countries do it too", I agree. That said, they also don't have the massive military expenditures we have. What would they be able to provide to their citizens if we didn't have their asses covered with our massive military infrastructure?

He also needs to stand up for America's inters ts as the champions of freedom amd stop Putin in his tracks.

You did see the debate against Romney right?

I like you man, I just don't understand why he isn't performing to your expectations given what he showed the first go around.

Jeaux is a New York, Jewish liberal. He's not suddenly going to abandon liberalism for the Republican Party. Give him respect for answering honestly and not hackishly or dishonestly.

True, Jeaux is a good guy. hopefully my response didn't come off as dick-ish.

There was a green party and a libertarian party candidate though

Good thread and good responses.

I'm humbled by the learned intercourse . . . I mean DISCOURSE going on here.

"Intercourse" is what Mommies and Daddies do after I go "nite-nite".
