Leaked draft report from UN
More good news from the global warming front, on the bright side there was no mention of man made global warming.
quote:

Climate change will displace hundreds of millions of people by the end of this century, increasing the risk of violent conflict and wiping trillions of dollars off the global economy, a forthcoming UN report will warn.
quote:

Based on thousands of peer-reviewed studies and put together by hundreds of respected scientists, the report predicts that climate change will reduce median crop yields by 2 per cent per decade for the rest of the century – at a time of rapidly growing demand for food. This will in turn push up malnutrition in children by about a fifth, it predicts.

Which is when Israel will develop crops that grow in the desert sand, impervious to heat and dry conditions.

Yes, THIS is the international crisis upon which US foreign policy must place its focus.

I would be interested to see what positive impact the expected warming is expected to have. It just seems implausible to me that all impacts would be negative.

That's because you're ignorant and don't know what's good for you. I, for one, am scared by this new report, and I am prepared to give more money to UN bureaucrats and do what they tell me to do. For the good of the planet.

So none of the actual scientists predicted these things....

The IPCC read their papers and then consulted to Voodoo bones to determine what it all meant?

what a joke.

We are due for another "bee scare." Some kind of ginned-up apocalypse involving bees seems to crop (pun intended) up about every 6-8 years.

As a farmer, the planet warming would increase crop production. More areas cold have 2 crops a year and others could have a longer growing season. Not sure where they came up with that BS

Not when all of the inhabitable land is flooded by the melting ice caps. Duh.

*Scientists*...my arse. Are those *scientists* so non-informed that they don't factor in Genetic manipulation of crop yields? Hell...I'm a redneck in Hillsdale and I can see that much.

More games!

One Supervolcano eruption or and asteroid...and the whole dynamic changes anyway. Just a matter of time.

Whatever.
