First it was the NSA/CIA spying on Senate computers. Now it's drones outside her house. For someone as liberal and powerful as Feinstein she seems concerned about government overreach.
quote:

In an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” that aired on Sunday night, the California Democrat said a drone spied into the window of her home during a protest outside her house, and that privacy concerns for the technology were “major.”

quote:

“When is a drone picture a benefit to society? When does it become stalking? When does it invade privacy? How close to a home can a drone go?” Feinstein said, listing questions she would like to see answered in the complex regulation process.

quote:

Demonstrators from Code Pink who were protesting government surveillance at the time, said the device was merely a toy helicopter, but Feinstein used the instance to sound off about the importance of controlling the technology through government regulation.

Great. Now FAA will further delay their ruling on commercial drone usage.

Another classic Lib, it's all good if it impacts you, as soon as it impacts them the poutrage is in full effect.

She is not in control of the technology and she takes offense of that being the case.

How ironic is it that a liberal progressive Dem like Feinstein sees more government regulation/power as the solution to government overreach.

I've always found this aspect of liberalism humorous.

They'll tell you about some corruption where private enterprise corrupted govt officials and then follow that by telling you we need to add government officials with even more power(that the private enterprise can corrupt).

I'm always like. Um. Did you just argue that the problem is government corruption so we need more government???

She is much more in control of the NSA spying but got pissed when the Senate computers were "hacked" by the CIA.
quote:

Feinstein, who is the chairwomen of the senate intelligence committee, has been a defender of the NSA’s spying program, but raised questions about the use of drones for law enforcement.
