Im watching San Fran in their semifinal game Vs BYU and im not that impressed. They dont really have a star that can go and get his own, their Transition Defense looks terrible and I think our BIGS Should dominant with there size and athleticism. Has anybody else seen this team cause by the look im getting im pretty confident we can beat this team.

They have a pretty good point guard, but we should win.

Their PG looks good. That's about it

Is LSU motivated to play? Sometimes when a team (and players) don't reach their bigger goal they may just be ready to call it a year. USF was 3rd in a decent mid-major league. I don't think LSU is good enough just to "show up" and win.

I watched them play a few times this year. They are pretty good. They can shoot it a bit.
We're gonna win.

We could not win in Tuscaloosa, what makes u think we can travel across the country and win?

The SEC is not as bad as people think.
The WCC doesn't have athletes like we do. It'll be a different animal.

What makes you think we can't?

Motivation is key

As long as we don't wear purple. Seeing the grey in HD would be nice

I would like to believe that we can press the crap out of them if we decide to. IF IF IF our kids show up motivated to play, we win.

I just watched this game and had a few observations.
First, we better guard the perimeter waaaayyy better than we have all year. 6 of their 7 regulars made a three pointer. Looking at their numbers, pretty much everyone can make three's.
I noticed they used this to their advantage by forcing opponents to vacate the paint to guard the perimeter. Then took players to the rim 1 on 1 where they finish very nicely around the rim.
It will be interesting to see if we can stay in a zone with that number of perimeter shooters. We leave a lot of guys open in that zone.
I also feel that USF struggled to get back in transition defense and LSU MUST TAKE ADVANTAGE. Here is where our athleticism will be important and we need to make good decisions in the transition game.
Otherwise, they have good size but LSU has the advantage in the paint. We have to get JOB and Mickey going because they will be the two best players on the court.

Dickerson leads the team in scoring but I'd say Avry the PG is their biggest game-changer. He shoots 45.5% from three point land and 84.5% from FT which are both team high's.
Dickerson and Tollefsen both play a 3/4 hybrid kind of like Martin. Both can shoot three's and have bodies to go inside. A very typical West Coast team where every player can hit a three pointer and spread the floor.
