While spearing lion fish. Crazy stuff, but makes for an awesome video... since he survived.

I'm betting it was the "smell" of blood from all of the ones he had speared.

It's likely because people are feeding the sharks and other fish the lionfish they kill and the sharks are becoming too comfortable with it
