I have 3 dead wet cell batteries I'm accumulated over the years

Will a battery store give me cash for the initial deposit or do they only give credit for buying a new battery?

I think you only get the core charge if you buy new but wal mart probably doesn't know the difference

Maybe I am way off. I know I tried getting autozone to give me $$ for a core charge and they wouldn't unless I bought a battery there.
