Wonder what the Inept one will do to bolster Dem numbers?
President Obama’s job approval rating has dropped to a new low of 41 percent, which could be an advantage to Republicans in the midterm elections, a new poll suggests.

Obama’s latest approval rating has dropped from the 43-percent approval he received in January, according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released Wednesday.

More than half of the public, 54 percent, disapproved of his job.

A third of those surveyed said their vote this November will signal opposition to Obama, while 24 percent said their vote would signal support foe the president.

The republicans had him for the taking in 2012 and killed each other off. I predicted they would beat him but their primary massacres killed each other. They own the right and now need to recapture the center from the Dems

it is an opening, we'll see how well they take advantage of it.

i think if y'all nominate Paul you will have a real chance to change some minds.

I think 2014 is the GOP to lose. Senate will be tough but is doable. Should increase control in the house, and do well in the governor's races plus state legislatures.

2016 is HRC to lose at the moment.

His approval may be down, but 41% is still way too fricking high.

That stat alone gives me zero confidence in the direction of this country.

It is a stark statement of just how ill prepared Obama was for this job. If not for the sycophantic press who continue to defend him and . promote his agenda the numbers would likely be closer to 25%. He looks so small when he goes on comedic venues and the cool talk shows to sell his policies. This latest move with forcing businesses to increase wages may be the tipping point when the real litigation begins.

The irony is that he got these IDIOTS, like Mary Landrieu, to vote for this steaming pile of dog s-hit by telling that they would be alright because "You've got ME!"

Now, they're all running FROM HIM.

What a f'ing scumbag.

While I agree that the press has a lot to do w/ this, ANYONE who's even attempted a tiny bit of scrutiny can see what a colossal failure his term has been. There are still 4 out of 10 citizens who have absolutely no clue that the country is falling apart.

That's the reason I have zero confidence in the future of this country.

Right, they don't have the intellectual curiosity to find out or the wherewithal to pursue it. The media and the cultural elitist in Hollywood and other entertainment figures also wield such influence and tilt so far left in supporting this agenda. Guess Rev. Jeremiah Wright was correct after all, "America's chickens ARE coming home to roost." We all know what chickens leave behind!

I have felt for some time now that there is a good possibility he could do this 30-60 days before November 4th if current election winds are still blowing in the same direction they are now.

Approving it seems inevitable at this point , and I think he fully realizes it. As much as he will hate doing it, I think he will at least get some solace from timing it in a manner that could help the Dems in 2014.

I don't think it was the primaries that killed the Republicans, it was the fact that the Democrats were able to make the election about social issues and not the economy.

The Democrats picked some issues that were losers by themselves (forcing religious institutions to pay for contraceptives), but it allowed them to bring social issues in general to the forefront and make the religious right the face of the Republican party, rather than the fiscal conservatives.
