Happy belated and posthumous 100th birthday to Harry Caray...

Would have made the century mark March 1.
Hard to believe the old bastard has been gone for 16 years.
My mid 1984 summer was spent watching Harry pull the Cubs through to a division title. Great memories of he and Steve Stone calling games with Ryno, the Sarge, the Penguin, Jody Davis, the Red Baron, Bull Durham, etc...

I remember there would be like 5-6 seconds of silence and you could hear a smacking sound over the microphone. Could never tell if Harry was eating something or if it was just that mouth thing that old guys do.
