DIY gas valve replacement on furnace?

How hard is it?
Seems pretty cut and dry, but messing with gas scares me a little bit.
Seems like a couple wrenches and some Teflon tape should be all there is to it
I've already purchased the part but I'm trying to avoid 200 bucks in labor, not to mention I enjoy the satisfaction of doing something myself.

natural gas isnt that unsafe

yup, but use pipe dope, not teflon tape. and tighten to TAF

I read to not over tighten bc the aluminum valve will strip or crack

I was just thinking of black iron, but yeah if its aluminum dont over tighten
