I know I know, CSB...but just now in the Rays vs Red Sox spring training game, Mahtook came in as a pinch hitter with the bases loaded Top 7 trailing 5-1. Ranaudo was pitching for the Sox. Got him in a 2-2 count and got a fly ball to left. Just thought it was cool to see them facing off against each other

Dude!! I had an milb subscription so I could watch all his games, and he texted me immediately after and was like "Did you watch the game!?!?" Of course it was like the ONLY start I missed all season. So he tells me the inning and what not to go watch. I'm like "what the hell? Y'all are batting?" he was like "I know...just watch!!!" His reaction of how tired he was when he crossed home was priceless.
The coolest part about all of it though was that Oscar Taveras, who is one of the best prospects around, is the guy who dove and missed the ball
But to answer the other question, he's a Free Agent. Baseball is a weird sport. Had a solid year last year, had a few tryouts and heard from some teams but no spring training invites. Still could sign on somewhere, but I don't know. Minors is all about up and comers or older experienced MLB players who can stick around in the minors in case of an injury...so he's in no-man's land. Been with the Dodgers and they just pay people to come over...he just seemed to always go to farm systems that were STACKED with prospects.

awesome
But yeah, Dodgers has to be one of the worst systems to be a prospect in, they are the new Yanks. Hopefully he can latch on somewhere.
