I took the new yak out this weekend. Others have asked that I give some information as they were looking at purchasing the same boat.
First off, this thing tracks really well. Stability is great as well. The seat is pretty comfortable.
I'm a big guy. 6' around 270lbs. I was able to stand in it, though admittedly it'll take a little practice to actually be able to fish standing. I'll wait for the water to warm up a little before I get too acrobatic.
This thing is definitely not a hobie, but for the money, I'd definitely recommend the purchase. I was using a Bending Branches Angler paddle if it makes a difference.

Took mine out this weekend as well. Only complaint I could have was the position of the paddle holder, it goes right over the top of the rod holder. I ended up knocking my pole into the water twice. It's at the bottom of a lake now.

Yeah, The position of the rod holder in general is dumb. I had to take it out to paddle (kept hitting it). I would suggest the rod holder be moved a little forward.
My paddle holder is actually clips on the right side of the boat. The notches for laying the paddle across the boat are quite a ways up front on mine.
