Do not want.

Gives the media too much to work with.

But would vote for, support, and volunteer my time to help ensure victory. Politics isn't perfect.

I would prefer Scott Walker with Rand Paul, but that's just me.

Would definitely vote for a ticket that contained Paul in any capacity. And as long as the other is a principled conservative that isn't a chicken shite, I would be happy.

Do you honestly think the media won't try to dig up dirt on Rand Paul? Let's face it. No man is a saint, especially a man who happens to be a politician. As much as I like Rand Paul, I'm pretty sure he's got skeletons in his closet - just like all the rest of them.

The problem with the media today is that whether you have some skeletons in the closet or not, they will "DIG" one up if you are a conservative or a Republican. They will bring something up from 30 years ago and use that or completely fabricate something out of thin air.

Cruz has zero crossover appeal, and would be a drag on Paul. Trust me.

I don't think he was referring to skeletons, but I'll let him speak for himself.

What does Cruz bring to the ticket other than the ability to throw bombs and rile up the base?

He bring a really solid nasal twang. And that's good enough for me.

That's all a running mate is supposed to do. Rand Paul is more libertarian than he is conservative. He could swing a lot of moderates his way but his politics might not jive with the religious right as much as the Republican Party would like. Ted Cruz could sure up the social conservative vote.

Who else are you going to go to in order to find out who has crossover appeal and who doesn't?

Uh...moderate voters? No liberal is going to vote for a Republican in 2016 just as no conservative will vote for a Democrat.
