been a frustrating year at times but these guys deserve to go out on a high note. we may well end up playing another home game in the NIT but this is senior day and i hope they both play well and get that W.

It has been very frustrating S, but those two have given us the most consistent effort and intensity all year and have done the brand proud.

I'd love to us avenge what was one of the more disappointing perfomances of the year in giving up 91 points in Athens.

Would love to see Andre go out with a great performance today. He has improved so much in his 4 years and represented LSU as well as anyone could expect in every aspect that a student athlete can.

will be interesting to see how the brackets shake out by the end of the weekend. i know better than to get my hopes up with thi steam but i believe they can win a couple of games in the conference tournament. we basically have nothing to lose, get past that first game and maybe get locked in with a bubble team that tightens up and we can take them to the sword.

I think getting that 6 seed gives us the best chance to win two games in the tourney and a win today gives us a very good shot at that number.

Today's game is one that we should win, but you just never know how this team will show. Georgia ain't all that good but I don't think there's a team in the SEC that has gotten more out of less than Georgia.

They play smart, disciplined team ball, and they don't usually beat themselves.

We on the other hand have beaten ourselves a few times.

Let's honor Andre and Shavon by showing up ready to play with enthusiasm and intentsity and we'll win.

Totally agree. Shavon and Andre are 100% classy guys and types of players you want in your program. Hard-working, no complaining, god body language on the court and appear to be great people off the court.

Let's send them off right and lock up the 6 seed. That would mean likely playing an Alabama in our first game and rematch with Georgia in 2nd game, both very winnable. That would then leave likely UK to make the finals. A lot of "ifs" but very attractive draw for us. #geaux

Both have been very selfless players in their time at LSU. Stinger, the only four year Sr. and best outside shooter, has quietly accepted a big reduction in starts and minutes this year for the hoped betterment of the team.
Coleman battled as hard as he could as an undersized 4 last year and helped a team that didn't look like it had a lot, at least get to .500 in the SEC.

While there have been more than a few times where us fans criticized them, both played with heart this year, and more importantly for the long run, seemed to be very good guys. Congrats to both on great careers and hopefully one great final game in the PMAC

Exactly Wolf. It's our best shot and this team obviously has no fear of Kentucky and matches up pretty well.

But it makes no matter without the right kind of effort today.

I would but I don't play for LSU. Getting a win is up to the guys who play for LSU.

Coleman has been my favorite player since he got here. Fills up the box score and does it with a good attitude while being a team first guy.

Perfectly described!

I'll be there early enough (3:45pm is when the ceremony begins)to give them a good send off!
