Geranium or Japanese Magnolia

Which is more conducive for the Louisiana climate? Both are absolutely beautiful.

i have a jap magnolia in my front yard. never had problems with it

Go with both, and if you know someone with a Gardenia, get a few cuttings this spring an root them.
