I am sure this game will be good, but I feel like the fire this game carried was that it would be the launch game to help define the next generation gaming.
Well now it's not that anymore, besides, Mario Kart 8 releases 3 days after that. Watch Dogs will find it's way into a bargain bin by mid July. I'll pick it up then.

Just watched the story trailer and it looks quite interesting. Combine that with the usual open world shenanigans and this will be a great game.

Almost zero chance MK8 outsells Watch Dogs. It'll hit the bargain bin by the end of the year because Ubisoft overships everything though.

It was the same case with most console releases. I was quite unhappy when Oblivion was pushed back from 360 release title but I got over it.

Why are all these new games being made for the old consoles and not adding games to the new consoles?

It's on the new consoles too. You forget that the vast majority of older consoles don't buy the new ones until year 3 or 4 of the system's life. Just about every console peaks in their 3rd year.
