I have a bunch of books on the subject. Haven't read any of them though.

I don't know about living completely OTG, but getting away from the city does appeal to me.

There's a documentary about a guy who built a house in the wilds of Alaska by himself in the '60s and filmed it

Ask Roger the Shrubbery, he seems to be living a reasonable facsimile

I know what he's asking but wouldn't it be logical that if someone lives "off the grid" they aren't exactly out there sharing their story?

Would be pretty hypocritical to live off the grid then turn around and boast about it.
