I'm looking at internet options and all I have available in my area at the time is satellite internet. Excede looks to be the best, but I'm worried about the usage caps. Plan on playing Titanfall and streaming Netflix on my XBox One a 3 or 4 nights a week.

Anyone else using satellite that can give me their thoughts? Thanks

Your gaming hopes and dreams have been crushed. Expect astronomical amounts of ping with satellite

On principle alone I would avoid data caps.

Depends on the game. I play some FIFA at night. Occasionally a little Civ. They have a list of "ok" games on the website. You'll need to get the package with no cap from 12-6 or whenever it is.

I have the same thought, but no charter and AT&T says there are "not enough ports" I've been waiting for a long time and called about 10 times with no luck

Excede is not designed for gaming. You will lag your balls off.

There's far too much lag to play any online game where you compete with/against others. Doing things like watching movies over Netflix are done because they can be buffered, gaming (usually) relies on real-time actions and reactions. The consumer level tech just isn't at the point to support satellite gaming yet.

Online lags to much. I canceled my xbox membership bc of it. Other than that, I think excede is a good choice. Your going to have to rely on games like AC or RD3
