This will end well

quote:

Scientists have brought back to life a virus that was buried in ice for 30,000 years and is still infectious, a prominent scientific journal reports.

If the Earth's ice melts sufficiently, Nature warns, it could "trigger the return of other ancient viruses."

A French husband and wife team who discovered the large organism in Siberia have named it Pithovirus sibericum.

It was able to infect amoebae despite having been frozen for 30 millennia.

Well, hopefully we can learn something from it and keep it contained.

My wife, when infuriated, has called me an amoeba with appendages, so I´m pretty damned worried.

I know. I already saw it. My post was an exclamation of both awe and worry, hence the "shitttttt".

I gotcha. We definitely need to get some strength in that back line.

Are you in the States now? Or are you traveling the globe again?

Harrumph. Two full years now. Not that I want to be travelling like a maniac, like before, but this shite is really dragging me down.

I almost bought a company in December, but the second partner went apeshit crazy on us, his demands were not tenable. I´m close to closing on two others, but nothing is written in stone, as you know.

Atlanta is, well, Atlanta is.........

Stiff upper lip my friend, stiff upper lip.

I´m cognizant of your professional unhappiness as well, and I wish you all the best.

As are you. Many douchebags on here (myself included), and está pendiente conocernos, y conocer tu padre, pues, me parece un hombre fascinante.

Saludos.

A "real life" Andromeda Strain situation....
