Sad story.
I'm sure they were both drunk, but sad the driver is fine, and the passenger dead.

The law is stupid. She's not to blame for the passenger getting killed unless she forced him/her into the car.

How old was the car? I didn't think anyone could take the dinging sound for a trip telling you to put your seat belt on.

They were both drunk. The passenger is to blame for his own decisions.
