The life sentence was for attempted murder of the boyfriend of a girl he had a crush on. This kid was smart enough to steal a yellow Lamborghini and keep it hidden for a year - even though he drove it - but dumb enough to be a crazy beta douche who tried to kill a guy for being with the girl he had a crush on. Definitely doesn't need to be free on the streets.

Local News Video - worth watching

quote:

All eyes in the courtroom gallery turned toward Max Wade, who had been convicted of stealing a Lamborghini and trying to kill the boyfriend of a girl he liked, as the judge sentenced him Thursday to life in prison. It was a shockingly harsh sentence for a young man who was only 16 when the first crime was committed. Everyone watched for his reaction. What they got from the 19-year-old in red-striped jail garb was nothing.

If he had gotten together with that teen who stole Cessnas and flew to the Bahamas, that would have been quite the duo.

It's a shame he didn't run over Guy Fieri with it.

GF is not terrible. I think his shows are some of the better food shows. Diners, dives, and drive-ins is awesome

Life seems a bit much for attempted murder involving a teenager.

But this kid does seem fricking nuts. I feel like 30/40 years before the possibility of parole would be more appropriate.
