Nolan, you sly little bastard.

Saw the McConaissance coming from a mile away.

Nov 7th can't come fast enough.

Nolan is particularly good at casting in his own films.

I am beginning to think Interstellar is the one we'll remember McConaughey for.

I'm stoked.

Any idea when we will get an actual trailer for it?

He didn't want to do the Dark Knight Rises after Ledger died but it was the only way he could get Inception financed.

I wonder what he agreed to do to get this made.

I have a feeling after Inception made ridiculous amounts of money that studios will be more inclined to trust him and his projects. He's a pretty well known name now and proved himself capable of taking a no-name project and turning it into stacks of cash.

Regarding the trailer, even though Nolan is one of the best in the business at not giving away too much while thinking you've seen it all, I don't want to see a single second of it. I want to plop my butt in that theater and know nothing.

this ^^^^

Nolan is one of the few directors that never disappoints me. I go to his movies for the experience, and i completely trust Nolan to blow my mind, rather it be in the story or in the cinematography/vision.

I don't want to know a damn thing. IMO, I think the movie's name is too much information.

He should've titled it "Question Mark"

At least with his own material, this is true.

Nolan, Whedon, Ridley Scott and the Coens really get that highest tier of trust from me.

Scorcese and Tarantino would be in the next tier, but only because they're a little more hit and miss, recently.

My favorite Tarantino movie is the one he hates - Death Proof

I'm not sure why he hates that movie. I think it's a work of art.

I could see a miss with Scorcese with Gangs Of New York.

I need to rewatch Gangs - it is a movie I should like.

I hate to even type this out on the M/TV board, but I'm not the biggest fan of DDL.

What is Interstellar supposed to be?

So far I know it's Christopher Nolan and there's a spaceship involved.

Besides trusting Nolan, what's to be excited about yet?

You will change your mind on DDL if you watch GONY. A bit long, but Bill the Butcher is one of the great characters on film for me.

Gangs is great and DDL is absolutely brilliant in that movie.

I don't get the hate for Gangs.

Rumor is - a wormhole opens making interstellar travel possible.

I think Matthew Mcconaughey is supposed to function as a sort of a Chuck Yeager for interstellar flight. Other rumors are that it involves time travel and alternate dimensions.

I'm stoked.
