In an interview with a German paper, he said the following:

quote:

Welt: So will you end your career in Munich?
Robben: Maybe. At least, my career where I still play at a high level. My current contract still goes on for one more year. If I do extend, it'll be for two years, and at the end of it I'll be 33. Of course, I'll want to play in another country and in another culture, for example in the USA. But for now, there isn't any other club I would play for, other than FC Bayern. I am very happy here.

Now that would be entertaining. Not sure MLS fans are ready for an old, injured and cranky Arjen Robben

No one is comparing the MLS to the top leagues in Europe.

Just what US Soccer needs - An excuse for the mainstream sports journalists to talk more about diving in soccer.
