I'm so confused by this two brand mentality.
Politics and world views are not as simple as coke vs pepsi.
Sadly, since the majority lack intellectually capacity it's believed to be that simple.

People don't like to admit they were taken or swindled or tricked. On top of that, they have been convinced in their soul that republicans hate them or whatever group they are. They won't care.

It's unfair to compare Obamacare to the concept of government run healthcare. Realistically, the preexisting infrastructure of healthcare in the US and our beaurocratic frickupery had it dead to rights before it passed. Our government (under either party) cannot even operate a federal mail system without hemmorhaging money. Our elected officials and government employees are absolute shite.

They live longer in Canada and Sweden and spend less of their GDP on healthcare. I'd say government systems are better.
Putin is not much of a problem. Who cares if he goes into Ukraine. We are not obliged by treaty to protect them. I don't get the conservative concern.

They have been very homogenous cultures compared to the US, makes it a lot easier to have universal health care.

What does that mean? Why does having a homogenous culture make a difference?
Canada is not homogenous at least when compared to Sweden.
So explain to me why a homogenous culture makes universal health care workable?
