Walking dead stupid question (Spoilers)

Is the Governor actually dead, beyond a reasonable doubt? I know he had a sword shoved through his heart and it looked like he was also shot (was it in the head or elsewhere?) but they never really focused on him becoming a walker or whatever. Stupid question, I know.

Considering this show's track record, I would venture to say that no, he is not dead.
I 99% believe he is dead. He should be dead. There's no logical reason to believe he is not dead.
But this show has a knack for ejaculating STD infested semen onto the screen and using The Talking Dead as a means for justifying its shitty storylines.
So far, this 2nd half of the season has been awesome. I really hope they don't ruin it.

Morrisey is signed for the whole season but isn't credited so far in the back half so likely is gone other than a hallucination.

Since the thread is marked spoilers it is pretty much a consensus among those who have seen the episode already/read the summary for tomorrow night have said it sucks. They switched Still and the past weeks episodes precisely so this one will air up against the Oscars.

The first shot of the first episode back from the break was of him lying on the ground outside the prison with a bullet hole in his head. So yes, it's beyond safe to say he is dead.
