Where will he be recruiting? Doesn't he have ties to Texas?

It means that we'll have someone with established relationships in North Louisiana recruiting that area.

I'm sure he'll also help in east Texas and wherever his territory for UK was.

It's all about the relationships he built in north la. He may have sucked as a head coach, but people loved him up here. He recruited really well at NWST, he just couldn't put it all together.

Any recruit that loves BBQ is now an LSU lock!

Seriously, he has recruited well in both Texas and Georgia in the past. Safe to say one of those states will be his assignment.

My son was recruited by bradley Dale, we did not go to northwestern but bradley was a class act and I made a friend. I wish him the best and I think he will do well. The guy is very passionate about his job.

Well said. He never lost his passion even after an opening 0-11 season. The guy loves football, he just isn't a head coach or coordinator. He's definitely a guy you want on the staff though.

He was our defensive coordinator my freshman year in 98'@ NSU. He recruited the Texas triangle really well. We had many players from Texas on the team and we ended up national semi-finalist that season. He is well respected in North La and East Texas no doubt.

Solid talent evaluator - he was lead recruiter on Perry Riley and Kelvin Sheppard, considering our recent LB play and some of the misses there in recruiting this will rectify some of that.

Miles made a special mention about Georgia, which I thought was interesting. Definitely wouldn't mind pulling a fish out of those waters on a regular basis.

Peveto's commitments while he was at LSU:
2006:
Perry Riley
Al Woods
Kelvin Shepperd
Steven Singleton
Jacob O'Hair
2007:
T-Bob Hebert
Josh Japser
Andrew Crutchfield
John Williams
2008:
Derrick Bryant
Cordian Hagans
Kyle Prater

Altogether a 5 star, a pair of 4 stars, and a handful of 3 stars.

We could possibly see another two headed monster. The beast that ate Malleveto has returned as...

Chavisveto?

No, I don't expect a chaveto to be born, but I do expect him to take over defensive line coach after Brick leaves.

Many on the rant are thinking this is a homerun hire.

I remember reading an article after a close loss to Bama one year while he was here. From what it portrayed BDP was loved by the players as there were multiple quotes about how he would fire them up with his passion. He taped up his ankles before the game because he was amped up. Funny thing to do, and no surprise that he meshes well with Miles. He and miles are players coaches while Chavis and Cameron are type A meticulous detail guys. You need both IMO, and this coaching staff will rise to the top.

Specifically, having the CEO type coach for PR and motivation, and the task masters in Chavis and Cameron will pay huge dividends. I honestly believe not this year but next we have a legit shot at the championship, and will be in the mix giving the Sec fits thereafter.

Time will tell. Miles ability to recruit applies to his staff as well, as he personally brought us the best. Head coach and off coordinator/defensive coordinator included, we have the best staff in the country

But he didn't. Only in the DC role.
