Rotoworld paired each team with a free agent; Will Blackmon to Saints

Saints: Cornerback Will Blackmon -- The Saints handed CB Keenan Lewis a five-year, $25.5 million deal last offseason. They use a couple more corners like him, but it's hard to see GM Mickey Loomis shelling out another big contract to a corner. Corey White isn't a viable No. 2. Blackmon (6-foot, 210) is a bigger corner who excels against the run and in physical defenses like DC Rob Ryan's. He shouldn't command more than $3-4 million per year on the open market on a two- or three-year deal. The Jaguars, however, are said to want Blackmon back.

My only complaint is the guy is kind of injury prone, but if he could stay healthy, Lewis and Blackmon would make a duo

Doubtful. NFL is pushing the Jaguars hard across the pond. They're now the 9th most valuable franchise (compared to 30-32 here) in London regarding jersey sales, etc. I give it 3-4 years before they're moved.

Spin off thread:
What would their name be? I bet there could be some cool shite tied into the battle of Britain motif if they went that route

more rotoworld on Blackmon-
The Jaguars' official website expects the team to re-sign free agent CB Will Blackmon.
Blackmon was signed off the street ahead of Week 1 after being out of the league in 2012. He started eight games for the Jaguars and played 682 defensive snaps. Pro Football Focus graded Blackmon out as its No. 22 corner out of 110 qualifiers. He's a big corner at 6-foot, 200, just how coach Gus Bradley likes them. Blackmon should be able to land a bit of guaranteed money.
Not a bad year but a terrible injury history. Number of games played a year-
4, 9, 16, 3, 5, 6, 15
7 years in the NFL, only 10 starts

I wonder if it affects a players psyche when it comes to minor injuries when you're playing for a team that sucks arse. Like, I wonder if they would be more willing to play through injuries when they are on a team that wins.

Wow, that is truly horrible. I would only be okay signing him if he was very cheap. Might be a decent player, but I'd be very leery of his past.
