How much $$$ does Louisiana see from all of the oil production?

I keep hearing about how Louisiana is so dependent of the federal government...but hasn't Louisiana gotten royally screwed over this?

Our royalty contracts are so screwed up. I was really hoping that was one thing that Jindal was going to try and get changed but that was a no go.

Yep, but that doesn't fit in with the lib agenda of portraying blue states as producers and red states as parasites.
Kind of like how they exclude ethanol mandates from the calculations. Or the fact that New York's wealth comes from the Fed giving megabanks sweetheart deals and the taxpayers covering Wall Street's bad bets.

Are you talking about tax revenue or citizens getting income from oil production? If the former, are you specifically talking about how we still get shafted on revenue from offshore production by DC?
