Just bought a 6'10" M. Had never heard of them before today. How bad did I screw up?

They are actually getting a ton of love on the bass fishing forums...

Sounds like you made a good choice.

Not if you had handled them. H? That would not cast a SB for shite.

If you throw flukes and scroungers a medium action will be fine . Now if you are chucking ounce and a half swimmers idk about that

As you know, there is no industry standard. No way in hell this is an M on the AllStar/Castaway scale.

This replaces the Rodsmith I broke Sunday on a swimbait fish.

Ive got my eye on these, they have become extremely popular.

I hear they are backed up until April on them...

I use a MH based on the swimbait size and weight and the cover I fish them by. If I was targeting Lgmouth with them I would consider stepping up to a H but it would have to have a fast tip which plays a big role in the castability.

Yeh it's not even close . The omens have a fast tip so it has a lot more backbone than the all stars and castaways . I have a medium heavy with a extra fast tip so it's like a board . It's a Mat punching son of a gun

I have a 7'3 M Envy and it's the best rod I've owned.
The M of the 13's are like a MH of other companies.
You will be very pleased with the rod

I find line wt rating to be more accurate.

Denali 6/9 MH is 12-17 lb
Omen 6/10 M is 10-17 lb

I think I'll be fine. I absolutley hate H action rods. My Tx. Grass rake gets flipping duties only now.
