I'm just a lurker of this board but I am about to start a new series. I just finished The 4400 and have narrowed my choices to Chuck and Torchwood.
Which one is better? Also, which one comes to a more conclusive ending or is it still running

Never seen Torchwood but Chuck is a great show. lot of tech pop culture references and stuff. One of my favorites

Its about a guy working in the nerd herd at buy more (geek squad at best buy) who gets all the CIA secrets in his head. he is an asset. But the show is really funny and has a great character chemistry. Its not a hardcore spy show but does have good really good story lines

Out of those two, probably Chuck. But if you like Science Fiction at all, might I add Battlestar Galactica.

Yeah that's what a friend just told me... I think I'm gonna try Chuck out and see how that goes

The show takes a couple episodes to grow on some people so dont just want 1 and give up on it. It really does have good plots. Only problem was NBC never promised them more seasons so they always tied up stories in a season that could have kept going into the next. So they had to create whole new stories

Ah, fricked up plot lines piss me off so I might not like that... That's why the 4400 just made me mad cause it ended with no resolve and on a cliffhanger...

The plotlines are great. they end everything nicely but some stuff could have kept going because there was so much more they could do with it but they tied it up instead. Like I said I dont know what you like so hard to give a rec but I Chuck is one of my favorite shows. Rewatched it right after it hit netflix

It's a cat and mouse game of humans escaping their own robotic creations, after the bots return in a...destructive fashion. It's a heavy military, socio-political drama. But it's fantastic. It ALMOST isn't science fiction. For the science fiction folks, it works. For those who don't like science fiction, it works because it doesn't really rely on that for the show (it actually branches off into other subject matter).
It's awesome, and most people seem to enjoy it, and it has ended and had a decent wrap up.
I'd even say watch the first 5 minutes of the opening mini series, haha. That might be enough to grab you.

dont just give up on chuck. Check it out sometime because it really is awesome. Arent many shows out there I can think of that has the actor/character chemistry that Chuck does
