I am going to disneyworld the 5-11th. Staying at the hilton by downtown Disney. We pre-booked several breakfasts and dinners. Only thing I have Left to do is get tickets to the parks. Do I get hoppers? Do I Pre-order? Anything I need to book? We have booked the Cinderella breakfast. Some sort of hoopti hoo event and some other character breakfast. Also. Anyone have experience with the babysitting service Disney recommends? 15 bucks an hour to have them sit in our room while my daughter sleeps seems like a great idea. What should the wife and I do the night or two we do this? Thanks ot!

pre booking meals was smart, get the tickets ahead of time, i'd suggest the hopper, unless you wanna devote one day to each park.

I would definitely get hoppers. I had some friends who went recently and they got sent bracelets that act as tickets, payment methods, and fast passes. I also think it tracks your location which is a little creepy.

It doesn't matter when you buy them since you are not staying on Disney property. The advantage of buying early if you are staying on site early booking for Fast Pass +. Since you are off site you'll just have to get in line at a kiosk every morning to book fast pass+. And so you know, all of the legacy fast pass machines are now gone. We are leaving Wednesday for a week. Have fun!

You get the extra hours and stuff, but you still can't pre-book fast pass plus. The place you are staying in really nice and probably closer to some parks than some on the Disney Hotels. Fast Pass plus is new so they are still working our kinks

My wife and I stayed at the dolphin resort a few years ago which is technically run by Sheraton. We got the extra hours but weren't eligible for the magic express or the meal plans if I remember correctly.

Yep, we stayed at the Dolphin last year. It was worth it though because of the price and you can't beat the location.

I like the idea of just scanning your wrist while drinking around the world at Epcot, LOL

Yep, I'm looking forward to it. Louisiana people pretty much take over Mardi Gras week so it should be a good time.
