Stations already throw pop ups in the corners and bottom of the screen, usually advertising their own shows. It's getting more and more obnoxious sometimes blocking subtitles. I can see it continuing to get bigger and bigger and including other sponsors.

Companies do this all the time. Like the league always drink bud light.

A lot of USA shows are pretty in your face about it

You've been seeing them for years and not known it.

Shows will put subtle advertisement within the script and props. In house of cards this season off the top of my head, I've noticed Stella artois beer, Dunkin Donuts, and one other product I can't remember at the moment. Oh yea, tons of apple products too.

Those were subtle. These are in your face and distracting. And I mentioned that they sometimes cover the subtitles.

They drank Bud heavies literally at every single waking moment on Entourage.

Yeah I forgot about that. They are everywhere. Coke had been doing it for years.

Watch white collar and sometimes you will think it's a ford commercial
