I prefer iOS but would deal with android for this.

I'm not sure I understand the practical applications here. Why do I need my phone to do 3D mapping?

Google > Apple. Apple better hope Jobs is reincarnated. Google is on a serious roll. Just for the record I like both companies. Just think Google has now surpassed Apple in mobile technology.

I don't know, but it opens up the possibilities for some interesting apps.

If Google can come up with a way for Android text to work seamlessly with iMessages, I would go back

If Google is doing it then you want it. Apple has lost it's innovative edge. I can't wait to see what they do with robotics.
