I equate walkin in music with dancing after a sack in football. Entertainment for those who need to be entertained and not enjoy the sport for the beauty of the sport.

Walkup songs are picked by and are for players. Some people find it entertaining and a bit of "lagniappe". I personally don't give a shite about walk-up songs, but I did like when Bruce Sprowl had "I Wish" by Skee-Lo.
