THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
* TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN LOUISIANA
SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI
COASTAL WATERS
* EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING FROM 725 PM
UNTIL 300 AM CST.
* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
SEVERAL TORNADOES POSSIBLE
SEVERAL DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
A FEW LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 125 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF
BATON ROUGE LOUISIANA TO 30 MILES SOUTH OF INTRACOASTAL CITY
LOUISIANA. FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE

I was near the Mall of La and walking in a parking lot when the wind kicked in. Almost knocked me over and I'm not a little guy. On the way back to the office, damn near pushed my truck into the other lane
